Thank you for considering Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill for your group getaway in Lockeport, Nova Scotia. Our beachfront property offers a peaceful, scenic setting. It is perfect for family gatherings, friend reunions, and small group events.
We have 10 oceanfront accommodations (8 cottages and 2 bunkies) and can host up to 44 guests in total.
Please note our group booking policies below. They are designed to ensure the quiet enjoyment of all guests, and safety of everyone on our property.

Booking Policy for Groups
When requesting a group booking, we kindly ask that you book entire sections of the property:
- All 3 cottages on Buchanan Beach
- All 5 cottages on Crescent Beach
- All 8 cottages together
Booking complete sections helps keep your group together in a more private setting and minimizes disruption to other guests.
Guests who make separate reservations under different names without disclosing that they are part of a group may be asked to leave. They may forfeit their deposit if this results in issues for others or violates our group policy.
Gathering Inside One Cottage
For your safety and ours:
- Gathering inside a single cottage with guests from multiple cottages is not permitted.
- This restriction is required due to fire code and insurance regulations
- Maximum occupancy limit must be respected at all times
Outdoor Gatherings
During peak season (spring through fall), we encourage group meals and socializing to be held outdoors. Kindly make use of the picnic tables and shared green spaces provided. We love seeing guests enjoy the beach, ocean views, and fresh coastal air.
Off‑Season Indoor Gathering Requirement
In the off‑season, weather can be unpredictable. For this reason, we require groups to book a nearby indoor community facility for shared meals and indoor gatherings.

Lockeport Beach Centre (adjacent to our property)

- Crescent Beach Centre Rental (PDF)
